Quality Vendors + Manufacturers Guide

Please note that some of the contacts are from China but I assure you that their quality is amazing.

For the hair contacts, you will need a phone, WhatsApp, PayPal and/or a western union or money gram account.

Terms you need to understand:

MOQ- Minimum Quantity Order.

FOB- Free On Board is also an international trade term that dictates the responsibilities of the buyer and seller. An EXW trade agreement, the seller is not obliged/required to load thegoods on the buyer’s designated method of transport.

FOB favours the buyer.

CFR- Cost and freight, when a sale contract is made CFR, the seller is required to arrange for the carriage of the goods by sea to a port of destination and provide the buyer with the documents necessary to obtain the goods from the carrier.

How to Contact A Manufacturer and What Questions to Ask:

Always start with a greeting, ask them how they are doing and proceed to asking about what you are looking for: Always know the price and MOQ before proceeding, you do not want to negotiate and find out you cannot meet the seller’s requirements. If the MOQ is too high, always request a sample order. You want to test the product out before buying in bulk. Don’t talk to any supplier if you are feeling out of it or being impatient. It's best to be in a good mood so that you can get your point across without coming off as being rude or disrespectful. That'll get you nowhere fast.

Before you get entitled, please note:

  1. They also have a lot to do and lives to get back to. If you feel like a manufacturer isn't responding, call them or find another rep to help. If they are unavailable at the moment, try again 2-3 days later.

  2. Don't forget that time differences are a huge factor. If they won’t reply, they are probably sleeping.

  3. Always ask for their email address as well.

  4. Do NOT send multiple question marks! That is beyond rude and disrespectful. 9x out of 10, you'll be left on read.

For example:

Hello,
How are you?

My name is_____________, is it possible for me to get ____________________. What is your MOQ and price? Can I place a sample order? What are your payment methods? How long does it take to prepare and send out my order after payment? Hope to hear from you soon.

Some questions one can ask if you do not know what to ask:

Hi, what is the best price you can offer for (name the product you want.) Hi, I am interested in ______________. I would like some more details. Would you send me a product sample before I place an order?
What is your min. order quantity?

How long does production take?
When are you closing for holidays?
How long does it take to process my order?

Also, remember to not ask 1,000,000 questions at once. 1-2 at a time is just fine. Happy Hunting!
